    Immunisations

When you enrol your child and as immunisations are updated you will be asked to provide evidence of their immunisation status.

    Enrolment and Registration of Interest

    Enrolling your child

You can register your interest to enrol your child with us by using the preschool registration of interest form.

You can access this form on department for Education website or at the kindergarten. You submit a registration of interest at anytime in person or via email.

When your child can start preschool (education.sa.gov.au)

There is a priority of access guideline which supports local families to attend their local preschool. If you are not local you are still very welcome to register your interest, but it is recommended you also register your interest at your local kindergarten.

An offer to enrol will be sent out to families in term 3 (term 1 start) or term 1 (mid-year start). Once an offer has been sent and you accept the offer we will ask you to complete enrolment forms and an official welcome will be sent with more details of transition visits and start dates early in the term prior to your child starting.

Parents will be invited to attend an Information Session in term 2 or term 4. You will learn about what your child will need at preschool, how learning is supported and ways you can be involved.

Once your child is enrolled for preschool they will be invited to attend some transition visits in the term before they start kindergarten. These will be a chance for your child to meet the staff and other children, become familiar with the environment and see how much fun and learning can happen at kindy.

    Additional Support (Bilingual and Disability)

Additional support is provided for children who may need some more support eg if they are living with a disability or speak a different language.

We also offer specific small group and 1:1 programs for children who require additional support with speech and language.Funding is provided by the Department for Education to support children and additional funding can be requested for children with higher needs to have extra support.

Children with additional needs may also be eligible to attend a term prior to their kindy year. This is called early entry and supports transition into the kindergarten program.

We are very happy to talk to you about your child’s needs and how we can best support their time at Kindegrarten.
